What would you do- ISRAEL
A social experiment conducted in Israel, very similar to the American NBC hit show “What Would You Do?” In this episode the producers investigate to see the reactions of everyday Israeli citizens when they are faced with a situation in which an Israeli store-owner refuses to serve an Arab customer.
NOTE- This is not a video to follow the hyper-idiotic narrative that “All Israelis are Racists”…the purpose is to share a thoughtful piece of media that can really open our eyes to the sort of parallels between aspects of Islamophobia/racism in this country and in Israel as well. The fact that such a show was even conceived of is something I am very pleased to see, and I think that it personally speaks to the presence of thoughtful Israelis who have begun to question their own society …just as much as some of the customer reactions in this video speak to the fact that the issue of racism in Israel and the Palestinian territories must be dealt with.
