Against Violent Extremism: Fighting with the  Mujahideen

Usama Hasan grew up in a deeply religious household. On a holiday from Cambridge University in the 1980’s, Usama traveled to Afghanistan to fight with the Mujahideen. On 9/11, he actually celebrated the attacks. Usama discusses how he turned away from his extremist ideology without turning away from his deep religious convictions.
